This fly was the result of wanting to tie a Barr’s Meat Whistle to fish in my buddy Adam’s family farm pond yesterday but not having the proper materials to follow recipe exactly. I’ve got to admit that I didn’t catch a fish on it but it sure did look good in the water.

It will happen, nice fly deisgn. I need to try Finnish raccoon and arctic fox body fur for some of my ties. That’s a keeper!
